My Elections Poster
ELECTION
What is an Election?
An Election is a when people vote for which party they want to win.
Why do we have elections?
Because if we didn't,we wouldn't know what decisions to make.Sometimes it stops people from fighting about what parties they want to vote for.
What is mmp?
MMP is the type of electoral system we have in New Zealand. It is the system by which members of parliament (MP's) are voted in by the people.
MAIN PARTIES IN NZ
*National party
*Labour party
*Green party
*New Zealand First
*Maori party
what happens during elections?
A statement or policy developed by the political party sent to the public through the political campaign. When the candidate for the said party elected, such statement will become political policy of the political party. It means, it is bounden duty of the party to perform the promise made by the party during campaign. When the majority members of the party get elected indicates the success of the political campaign. On the other hand, if the majority members defeated from the election indicates the failure of the political campaign.

Sea Turtles
The female’s lay eggs in the sand and covers them up. Eggs are white and leathery like ping pong balls. 20% don't hatch. They lay about approximately 1000 eggs.
The baby sea turtle try to make there way to the sea. 50% don't survive. On the way to the sea there is crabs, pollution, holes, and seagulls. Baby sea turtles are the size of your hand.
While they swim in the sea the pass lots of predators like sharks, dolphins, whales, and lots of dangers animals on the way. They can grow up to a size of a dinner plate then grow to a size of a dinner table.
The sea turtle covers the eggs to keep them safe. most of them live in the sea. The sea turtle has a special gland when they drink.
