Flag Change

• make NZ stand out from other flags
• NZ and Australia’s fags are similar
• The flag will advertise New Zealand
• Tourists coming to NZ know the flag
• We wouldn’t get mixed up with the Australian flag

Dear John Key

The government is wasting money on this flag. we should keep it the same because we can remember the people the fort for us in the world war 1-and 2. We should keep it because we have the union jack on the corner of the flag. We have seven stars to represent Matariki.

nz and australia’s flag look the same the only difference is the colour and how many stars they have on it. when people want to visit, they will get mixed up with new zealand and australia.  

The flag is been history and we don’t want to change the flag because we have had this flag for about 20 years now and we had the world war 1 and 2.

If we do change it we will not get mixed up with Australia and tourists will more likely come to New Zealand. We will get more money from the tourists buying items from shops.
